We enjoyed the warmth and hospitality of the locals. Still, challenges abounded.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Despite the help of local interpreters, at times it proved daunting trying to explain fairly deep and complex issues in simple English. But we did emerge richer for the experience, even if through the hard way. It has strengthened our resolve to master the Khmer language.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Attending church also proved to be insightful.
